Concept
This list is based on our review results and it is calculated based on weighting the ranking of each reviewers individual list and then totaling that number for each cigar and then ranking the cigars based on the total scores from that weighting.

Criteria
- Only cigars that were released between November 1, 2024 and October 31, 2025 are eligible
- Cigar has to have been reviewed on the site by Jiunn, Seth, John and Aaron

How does Jiunn’s #1 Foundation 10th Anniv. and John’s #2 Foundation 10th Anniv. not make the list???
Yet the Chimolly (received a single #14 vote), Bandolero (single #5 vote), Powstanie (single #2 vote), and Tat. Pork (single #2 vote) make it? If you throw out a cigars lowest score, you’d come up with a way more accurate list.
IMO, any cigar that made only a single reviewers 25-list shouldn’t be on the overall Top-25.
Also, thanks for making all 4 reviewers Top-25 lists available. I find it very useful. I like to see the cigars that received 3 or more votes. There were 11, 7 of those were in the top 10.
Of the Top 10, 7 received 3 or more votes, two received two votes, and one received one vote (The Tatuaje Pork Tender)
Yet 5 spots below that is the #15 DT&T Fritanga that received three top-25 votes at #2, #6, and #7. But it still loses out to the Tatuaje Pork? Makes zero sense. Throw out the lowest score!
The #1 JRE Aladino received a #1, #11, #19 and unknown, while the DT&T received a #2, #6, #7, and unknown. My 4th grader says the DT&T should be #1. I agree.

Appreciate you weighing in here.
The rankings are based on the weight from each reviewers reviews over the year, not the actual scores, or just from the top 25. If we threw out scores, it wouldn’t be a true representation of the panel. If someone had a poorly constructed cigar, why would we negate that experience? The results need to show a true representation of our experiences.
We’ve set it up for the cigars that show the best across all of our palates, for better or worse.
The individual lists are there so that you can see the one from the reviewer or reviewers that better align with your palate.
My 5th grader says that the math they are teaching now sucks and it shouldn’t be trusted.

The Olympics throw out the low score for a good reason……….but I’ll give you guys a thumbs up for going to blind testing for ‘26, your worlds (and ours) are going to be rocked. I’m guessing knowing the brand you’re smoking comes into subliminal play more than we think. Cheers
