Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra de Saka The Bewitched

Team Cigar Review: Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra de Saka The Bewitched

This Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Muestra de Saka The Bewitched was one of the most balanced and composed Saka blends that I've had. Each flavor blended well without ever being spikey (sans the final third). Even saying this, the cigar did showcase what I find in many of Saka's blends, (earthiness, good body and depth). I'll gladly smoke more of these.

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla

In my opinion, in true, fairly typical fashion, Pete nails the body. There aren't that many good cigars with medium plus body these days, but Pete seems to know how to achieve that and pair it with flavors that compliment it quite well. Even with this said, I still prefer the Habano versions of the Brown Label. But this Tatuaje 7th Tuxtla was neat to smoke for a little change up.

Team Cigar Review: Cordoba & Morales Finca Santa Fe 10th Anniversary

Team Cigar Review: Cordoba & Morales Finca Santa Fe 10th Anniversary

It's good to be reminded of Azarias' harmonious blending capabilities. I don't often smoke his brand, but after this experience, I need to think twice about that. The profile of the Cordoba & Morales Finca Santa Fe 10th Anniversary showed great balance of spice, earth, sweet and fruit. It touched on everything a good cigar should be. I look forward to having more of these.

Team Cigar Review: Crowned Heads Le Carême Belicosos Finos 2022 LE

This Crowned Heads Le Carême Belicosos Finos 2022 LE was a fantastic belicoso. Great flavors of rich earth, strong spices, sweetness, mocha and espresso. Great evening cigar. Would highly recommend, smoke again and would love to age. Fantastic Connecticut Broadleaf.

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje La Riqueza SE 2022

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje La Riqueza SE 2022

The first third was awesome, as it's in many ways what I look for and enjoy from a quality Connecticut Broadleaf cigar; nice dankness, barnyard, chocolate, supporting pepper spice. But past the first third, the bitter bite of cedar wood became too overwhelming on the other flavors, leaving the flavor profile more narrow and not as pleasant. So overall, I will pass on this Tatuaje La Riqueza SE 2022.

Team Cigar Review: Ferio Tego Timeless TAA 2022

Team Cigar Review: Ferio Tego Timeless TAA 2022

I know this blend is like the TAA release from 2020, and I thought highly of that release, so it is not a surprise this Ferio Tego Timeless TAA 2022 did well for me. I enjoyed the flavors of cocoa, leather, wood and sweet spices throughout. Burn was not great, which was surprising, but I could have just had that cigar. Nice strength and body. If this becomes an annual TAA blend, I will buy it every year.

Team Cigar Review: Cuesta-Rey No. 95 Cameroon

Team Cigar Review: Cuesta-Rey No. 95 Cameroon

"True" Cameroon wrappers have always been intriguing to me. There's the ideal of where it should come from, where the best come from, and there is talk about how if it's right, it'll taste rich in spice and sweetness alike. But the (my) reality is, I haven't had many good ones. Then comes this Cuesta-Rey No. 95 Cameroon. Rich, sweet, spicy and full of flavors. This was great from first to last draw.

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje T110 Tuxtla

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje T110 Tuxtla

The Tatuaje T110 Tuxtla came out of the gate swinging with some interesting and fuller flavor combinations that kept me on my toes. That complexity seemed to fall off rapidly moving into the second third, eventually becoming linear and flat in the last third with earth being the only standout flavor component. The price point on these is quite reasonable and the time commitment is approachable so I would give the T110 Tuxtla another try to see if the profile was the same or improved.

Team Cigar Review: Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BC-(13)4EV

Team Cigar Review: Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BC-(13)4EV

The Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BC-(13)4EV is a winner in my book. The profile showed good depth, balance, and composure. With just the right mix of spice, earth and sweetness, this is one I'd smoke again. And call me crazy, because I actually think the higher premium of $24 per cigar isn't too high, considering the price hike of the average cigar nowadays. Nicely done.

Team Cigar Review: ATL Black Torpedo

Team Cigar Review: ATL Black Torpedo

I was pleasantly impressed with the ATL Black Torpedo. The first and second thirds provided interesting and dynamic flavor combinations that kept me engaged, and the strength levels harmonized well. The last third was still pleasant, but not quite at the same complexity levels as the rest of the cigar. I would happily smoke the Black Torpedo from ATL again.
