Team Cigar Review: German Engineered Raumzeit Robusto

Team Cigar Review: German Engineered Raumzeit Robusto

The German Engineered Raumzeit Robusto had a nice start with the combination of flavors presented. This is an interesting blend, and while it couldn't maintain the enjoyment level of the first half, I'd be interested in trying some other vitolas to see how they fare. This is a good step up for the brand and I look forward to future offerings.

Personal Cigar Review: Don Diego Special Edition Pirámide Extra

Personal Cigar Review: Don Diego Special Edition Pirámide Extra

The Don Diego Special Edition Pirámide Extra had an average flavor profile throughout. The burning paper note is something that can easily torpedo a flavor profile, but this profile did a good job of not letting it get out of hand. The price point is fair for the experience, but there are plenty of other Connecticut shade cigars I'd reach for before coming back to this one.

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje Avion Tuxtla

Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje Avion Tuxtla

I found the Tatuaje Avion Tuxtla to be the most enjoyable of the Tuxtla offerings. With that, a really good Mexican offering overall. Brought me back to all the past Avions I have smoked, which was enjoyable as well. A good experience. Balanced cigar with great construction and draw. Enjoyable flavor profile. Nice notes of cocoa, espresso, earth and leather.

Team Cigar Review: Peter James Los Estoico 54 Habano

Team Cigar Review: Peter James Los Estoico 54 Habano

The Peter James Los Estoico 54 Habano does not top the charts in the amount of words I've written on a review, but it also delivers a number of flavors that combine in a balanced way around the medium strength mark. I'd happily smoke the Peter James Los Estoico 54 Habano again, this is my kind of cigar, and I think with the strength being around medium, it should have fairly broad appeal.

Personal Cigar Review: Oliva Serie O Natural Robusto

Personal Cigar Review: Oliva Serie O Natural Robusto

The Oliva Serie O Natural Robusto had a nice start with a nice combination of flavors and transitions. The second third dropped down a level as the baking spice departed and the final third dropped another level as the bitterness joined in. With the low price point, this is an easy try, but it wouldn't be my first choice to revisit in the Oliva portfolio and I wouldn't see myself coming back to this particular line all that often.

With this special edition, VegaFina presents aficionados the first “Reserva” framed into its Nicaragua line. Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Classic Corona

Team Cigar Review: JRE Aladino Classic Corona

The JRE Aladino Classic Corona offered balanced and interesting flavors that at times were up to medium-full strength but remained balanced through the majority of the cigar review. I would definitely smoke the JRE Aladino Classic Corona, especially when you factor in the approachable price point.
