Asylum Split Personality 40x4

Team Cigar Review: Asylum Split Personality 40×4

The Asylum Split Personality 40x4 opened with some intrigue given the unique vanilla and banana aromatics, but the smoking experience struggled with balance and consistency. While the draw and burn performed admirably, the profile leaned heavily toward cloying vanilla and hay bitterness, with little evolution. A novel concept, but the overall delivery was underwhelming. I appreciated there wasn't a sweet cap, but the overall profile isn't something I'd reach for.

Team Cigar Review: Asylum Ten 11/18

Team Cigar Review: Asylum Ten 11/18

I enjoyed the Asylum Ten 11/18, and it is no surprise. You present me with a Honduran blend like this and I will be happy. It is balanced and has a profile to my liking. There are subtle flavors throughout, and it is focused around wood, earth, barnyard and cream notes. Nice body and strength with that as well.

Team Cigar Review: Asylum Arkham 52x6

Personal Cigar Review: Asylum Arkham 52×6

The Asylum Arkham 52x6 started well, but fell off as the chalkiness joined and the toast level increased. The final third dropped off as the char and bitterness joined. Overall, I don't see this as a cigar I'd return to as the final third took away from the positives of the first third. The price point is attractive, so it's an easy try to see what you think.
