Team Cigar Review: Black Works Studio Intergalactic Corona Larga

Team Cigar Review: Black Works Studio Intergalactic Corona Larga

This is Black Works Studio to the T. Bold flavors and strength to match. But what it (thankfully) isn't is harsh and rustic. The profile has plenty of rustic notes, but also does a great job of delivering enough softer tones to make it a well blended ass kicker. Not many profiles in the industry are like this so this Black Works Studio Intergalactic Corona Larga is a winner in my book.

Team Cigar Review: Black Works Studio Hyena Corona Gorda

Team Cigar Review: Black Works Studio Hyena Corona Gorda

The Black Works Studio Hyena Corona Gorda was a different offering from the company. Instead of typically showcasing overt strength and a punchy flavor profile, this cigar showed full flavors and some strength, but in a more composed and balanced way. Hands down will smoke more of these.

Team Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Company Super Deluxe Lancero

Team Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Company Super Deluxe Lancero

The Black Label Trading Company Super Deluxe Lancero was an enjoyable medley of cocoa, baking spices, graham cracker, creaminess, wood and leather that kept me engaged for the entire smoking experience. The pepper and toasted quality might catch some off guard, but the intensity didn't stick around for very long. I would reach for another Super Deluxe Lancero.

Team Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Co. Bishops Blend 5 Year Anniversary Corona Gorda

Team Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Co. Bishops Blend 5 Year Anniversary Corona Gorda

The Black Label Trading Co. Bishops Blend 5 Year Anniversary Corona Gorda has a consistently good flavor profile from start to finish. The 5 Year Anniversary release seemed to be a bit of a departure from previous annual releases. This cigar will appeal to BLTC fans and the reduced strength and body should bring in a wider audience of cigar smokers.

Personal Blind Cigar Review: Flor de Cesar Toro Largo

Personal Blind Cigar Review: Flor de Cesar Toro Largo

This cigar had the core main flavors that make up a good cigar. Sweetness, spice, wood and earth. The flavors themselves were good, but as a whole lacked harmony. Whoever blended this likes a heavier dose of strength and spice, even at times tipping the balance of sweetness and spice.

Personal Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Company Shere Khan

Personal Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Company Shere Khan

I'd have no problem smoking this again, but doubt I'll be able to get my hands on another one. The profile of a rare cigar like this should make you want to go back to it which the Black Label Trading Company Shere Khan achieved. Try it if you can find it.

Personal Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Company Santa Muerte 2017 Corona Gorda

Personal Cigar Review: Black Label Trading Company Santa Muerte 2017 Corona Gorda

For those that are fans of what comes out of Fabrica Oveja Negra, they'll find something they recognize and can enjoy in the Black Label Trading Company Santa Muerte 2017 Corona Gorda. For me, the profile was a bit too linear and I would prefer a bit more complexity as I found the profile to lose my attention as it got into the second half.

Team Cigar Review: Emilio Grimalkin Toro

Team Cigar Review: Emilio Grimalkin Toro

For those that are fans of the dark flavors and strength that normally comes out of the Fabrica Oveja Negra factory, they'll find something they like in the Emilio Grimalkin Toro as it follows a similar path. I could see myself enjoying more of these from time to time.
