Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Baka Hunter Gatherer

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Baka Hunter Gatherer

The review of the RoMa Craft Baka Hunter Gatherer was consistent with the sample I smoked years ago before the trade show. The flavors are nuanced, layered and balanced, and deliver engagement through the entire review. I'd happily continue to smoke these on the regular, especially given that the price point is reasonable for a cigar with a Cameroon wrapper.

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Tarred & Feathered

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Tarred & Feathered

The RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Tarred & Feathered was a good cigar experience, with the first and second thirds providing the best flavor experiences for me. It was interesting to taste the filler and binder first, and then get a big flavor injection of chocolate and musty wood once the wrapper added its influence.

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Craft 2020

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Craft 2020

The RoMa Craft Craft 2020 was the first in the Craft series I've had the opportunity to smoke, but based on the experience it will not be the last. The flavors were complex, balanced and kept my attention constantly through the entire smoking experience. Quality releases such as these are why RoMa Craft has such a strong following.

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Neanderthal LH

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Neanderthal LH

The RoMa Craft Neanderthal LH is a fantastic size and takes the line to a higher level. Even if you have been a fan of the Neanderthal line, you need to understand that this vitola is an improvement. It lets you get that great filler blend with the larger ring gauge and the pressing really helps the wrapper and the smoking experience.

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Baka Bantu

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Baka Bantu

The first and second thirds exhibited interesting flavor complexity. Notes of baking spices, cocoa, white pepper, cedar and creaminess made for an enjoyable experience and a rating of good. Overall, I enjoyed the Baka Bantu and would smoke it again.

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Cromagnon EMH Don Bosco

Team Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Cromagnon EMH Don Bosco

Overall, I mainly enjoyed the first third of the RoMa Craft Cromagnon EMH Don Bosco. With a flavor profile centered around coffee beans, hay, toast and baking spices, there was nothing to dislike. But past that point, the flavors fell flat, providing mainly cedar and light baking spices. A decent offering, but not a top notch offering.

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft CroMagnon Firecracker 2018

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft CroMagnon Firecracker 2018

The RoMa Craft CroMagnon Firecracker 2018 is my second experience with a Firecracker offering and they have both been positive. If you're a fan of the CroMangnon line, then smoking this is a no brainer, if you can still find them. For those that bought these, they are great shorter smokes that give you the profile you're accustomed to. I would have no problem smoking more of these.

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Wunder|Lust Robusto

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Wunder|Lust Robusto

For those that like darker flavors and some strength, I could see the RoMa Craft Wunder|Lust Robusto being a draw. For me, the flavor profile was too much about those components and wasn't something that really grabbed my attention.

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Aquitaine EMH Saber Tooth

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft Aquitaine EMH Saber Tooth

The flavor profile of the RoMa Craft Aquitaine EMH Saber Tooth was very wood and dry earth centric along with some cream. Some heavy char was present through the middle third and then settled down to let more flavors become detectable. I would have no problem revisiting this cigar as an evening smoke paired with a nice brown spirit.

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft CRAFT 2018

Personal Cigar Review: RoMa Craft CRAFT 2018

The reduction of the ring gauge as the RoMa Craft CRAFT 2018 went along definitely took me through a journey of flavor concentration. I felt like the second third was the best representation of flavors as it combined the best of the wood, mustiness, earthiness and vegetal notes.
