Team Cigar Review: LCA Reserva Vintage 2021

Team Cigar Review: LCA Reserva Vintage 2021

The LCA Reserva Vintage 2021 had a nice start with a good combination of flavors and low strength. The second third walked the line of good/average but finished average due to the bitterness and maintained that level the rest of the way. If the cigar could have just dodged the wood bitterness, it could have been good throughout. Not sure if some time might help to alleviate that.

Team Cigar Review: CLE Signature THT-EKE 03/17 TAA 11/18

Team Cigar Review: CLE Signature THT-EKE 03/17 TAA 11/18

I typically wouldn't say this about a cigar I felt was overall average tasting, but I actually do want to smoke this CLE Signature THT-EKE 03/17 TAA 11/18 again in a few months. The oddities of flavors both intrigues me and annoys me, because I rarely taste a cigar that's this much of an odd ball that I cannot definitively identify the flavors. But then again, do I want to do this for $18? That's a tough one.

Team Cigar Review: C.L.E. 25th Anniversary 11/18 TAA

Team Cigar Review: C.L.E. 25th Anniversary 11/18 TAA

This C.L.E. 25th Anniversary 11/18 TAA turned out to be a bit of a bright spot in another year of disappointing TAA releases. The price point is high on this cigar, but I think is worth it for the occasional enjoyment. I'd smoke another, in hopes of a better burn, and it's a nice addition to the C.L.E. portfolio.

Team Cigar Review: Eiroa Jamastran Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Eiroa Jamastran Robusto

I enjoyed the smoking experience of the Eiroa Jamastran Robusto. It had a wide variety of flavors, ranging from cinnamon, to coffee, spices, cedar, citrus and cocoa. While the profile at times reached medium strength, the flavors exhibited a wide range of intensity from subtle to medium.

Team Cigar Review: Eiroa Dark 50x5

Team Cigar Review: Eiroa Dark 50×5

I enjoyed the Eiroa Dark 50x5 quite a bit and look forward to smoking more. This is a great new addition to the Eiroa portfolio and I'd have no problem recommending this to others.

Team Cigar Review: CLE Habano 70x4

Team Cigar Review: CLE Habano 70×4

CLE does Habano wrapped cigars pretty well and this was no exception. If you're OK with large ring gauge cigars, then the CLE Habano 70x4 is well worth your time. The first third burned through fairly quick, but after that, it had a longer smoking time per third. Don't expect this to be a fast smoke due to the short length.

Team Cigar Review: Eiroa The First 20 Years Colorado Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Eiroa The First 20 Years Colorado Robusto

Construction was very good and I can see why this cigar is getting some praise. I'd be interested in trying this in a slightly larger vitola to see if the profile builds a bit more. Strength is right around medium, so most smokers would be right at home with this. This is definitely a cigar I'm interested in smoking more of.

Personal Cigar Review: Camacho Liberty 2006

Personal Cigar Review: Camacho Liberty 2006

The mystery of a coffin...not knowing what you'll find inside...the hype of the Liberty line. Let's face it, I was truly looking forward to smoking this one. The 2005 I enjoyed a couple of years ago was pretty darn good.

Team Cigar Review: CLE Azabache 2016 TAA Robusto

Team Cigar Review: CLE Azabache 2016 TAA Robusto

Even though it wasn't that balanced in the first third, I found the transitions entertaining and the rest of the smoke kept my attention. I could definitely see revisiting this again.
