Team Cigar Review: Sacra Folium Radix

Team Cigar Review: Sacra Folium Radix

The Sacra Folium Radix was creamy, sweet, earthy and just flat out good. The strength never remotely approached full. This is one to grab a few to try.

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Undercrown Sun Grown Flying Pig

Team Cigar Review: Drew Estate Undercrown Sun Grown Flying Pig

The flavor profile of the Drew Estate Undercrown Sun Grown Flying Pig was primarily oak and earthiness but had some added cinnamon at the beginning and added some mustiness and char towards the end. This is definitely an enjoyable cigar and has me looking forward to smoking more in this vitola as well as the others.

Team Cigar Review: Saga Short Tales Tomo IV L.O.V.

Team Cigar Review: Saga Short Tales Tomo IV L.O.V.

I find it great that a little 4 x 44 petite cigar, like this Saga Short Tales Tomo IV L.O.V., can have so many flavors. It's a shame there aren't many petite cigars in the market place, let alone ones that have this much flavor. Take it slow with this cigar and you'll be rewarded with a great, short and flavored experience.

Team Cigar Review: Smoking Jacket Henkie

Team Cigar Review: Smoking Jacket Henkie

The Smoking Jacket Henkie was a pleasure to smoke through and through. I loved how the flavors were so full, especially in sweetness, earth and just the right amount of balanced spice. Don't sleep on this one.

Team Cigar Review: Camacho Imperial Stout Barrel Aged

Team Cigar Review: Camacho Imperial Stout Barrel Aged

Typical of what I have experienced from Camacho's barrel aged series, the flavors don't come through enough. What I expect from a barrel aged imperial stout cigar is big vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, etc. The Camacho Imperial Stout Barrel Aged gave off chocolate, but that was the extent of it. I recommend picking up a few to judge for yourself.

Team Cigar Review: Southern Draw Jacobs Ladder Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Southern Draw Jacobs Ladder Robusto

Definitely a fuller strength cigar that also delivers on flavor. This is a great addition to the Southern Draw portfolio and one I'm looking forward to smoking more of and trying the other vitolas. If you're a fan of the brand and like fuller strength offerings, then this is a must try.

Team Cigar Review: D’Crossier Golden Blend Robusto

Team Cigar Review: D’Crossier Golden Blend Robusto

The D’Crossier Golden Blend Robusto had a nuanced and downright delicious tasting profile unfortunately leveled by a poor burn performance. Even factoring that, I did enjoy the flavor profile and will gladly smoke more, even if I have to light it again (and again).

Team Cigar Review: Island Lifestyle Aged Reserve Series Sun Grown Toro

Team Cigar Review: Island Lifestyle Aged Reserve Series Sun Grown Toro

The Island Lifestyle Aged Reserve Series Sun Grown Toro is a nice, flavorful cigar that allows you to just focus on those flavors. I'm very interested in trying the other lines now and would say this is one I'll gladly smoke more of and something worthwhile to check out to see if you agree.

Team Cigar Review: Cornelius & Anthony Aerial Robusto

Team Cigar Review: Cornelius & Anthony Aerial Robusto

The Aerial showed great depths of flavors starting with the familiar La Zona spice kick upfront and good identifiable flavors. A great representation of well rounded and building intensities of flavors. I say give a Connecticut Shade hater an unbanded Aerial and show him/her the bands afterwards to see their surprise.

Team Cigar Review: Highclere Castle Toro

Team Cigar Review: Highclere Castle Toro

If cigars tasted this good in the early 1900s, then sign me up. Don't let the light wrapper fool you, the Highclere Castle Toro has plenty of depth and body to enjoy on a stand alone basis and paired with a nice spirit. A luxurious look paired with a luxurious taste. I need a Rolls Royce to smoke this cigar in.
